Birger OÜ specialises in design, engineering and the manufacture of HL type (hooklift) containers. The company in Avinurme, ESTONIA, has 12,500 square metres of state-of-the-art production facilities and 10,000 square metres of storage capacity. Our range of products includes different types of containers that meet the needs of every client.
Our VISION is to be a leading manufacturer of metal container solutions in Northern Europe for the construction, agriculture, waste, and recycling sectors. The MISSION of the company is to contribute to an environmentally sustainable lifestyle by providing its clients with high-quality and attractive products for collecting and transporting various raw materials and waste.
The company employs over 200 qualified specialists. We manufacture more than 6,000 containers a year, and 95% of our products are sold in the competitive Scandinavian market. Fincumet Group Oy is a holding company with the following subsidiaries: Fincumet Container Oy, Lakeway Finance Oy and Birger OÜ. Fincumet Group is a Finnish family-owned company based in Ikaalinen, Finland.
Fincumet Container Oy is the leading provider of hooklift containers in Finland. In addition to hooklift containers, Fincumet Container sells different kinds of cargo containers, space solutions, collection containers, dump containers and other products for environmental maintenance. In 2019 the company sold over 4 500 units and its revenue was some 15 million euros.
Lakeway Finance Oy is a company that took over the management of the leasing products sold by Fincumet Container Oy on 31.12.2019. In the future, Lakeway Finance will provide a diverse offering of finance services.
Birger OÜ operates in Estonia and is the largest manufacturer of hooklift containers and steel structures in Northern Europe. The company produces hooklift containers for the entire Nordic region. In 2022, Birger’s revenue was some 26.4 million euros and the company employs some 200 persons.
